中國工程院院士，全國建筑設計大師?，F任深圳市建筑設計研究總院有限公司首席總建筑師。畢業(yè)于東南大學(xué)獲博士學(xué)位。同時(shí)任深圳大學(xué)特聘教授、澳門(mén)科技大學(xué)特聘教授、中國建筑學(xué)會(huì )副理事長(cháng)、中國建筑學(xué)會(huì )建筑師分會(huì )副理事長(cháng)、深圳市專(zhuān)家人才聯(lián)合會(huì )會(huì )長(cháng)、東南大學(xué)、華南理工大學(xué)等高校教授。被先后授予全國建筑設計大師稱(chēng)號、梁思成建筑獎、光華龍騰獎中國設計貢獻獎金獎、南粵百杰人才獎等。
長(cháng)期從事建筑設計及其理論研究工作。主持設計了渡江戰役紀念館、玉樹(shù)地震遺址紀念館、深圳前海國際會(huì )議中心、香港大學(xué)深圳醫院、深港西部通道口岸旅檢大樓、昆明云天化集團總部等各類(lèi)工程項目二百余項，獲得各類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)獎項80余項。擔任國家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計劃專(zhuān)項項目“目標和效果導向的綠色建筑設計新方法及工具”的項目負責人。出版《本原設計》《新醫療建筑的創(chuàng )作與實(shí)踐》等多部論著(zhù)，提出了”本原設計”的創(chuàng )作理論，倡導“全方位人文關(guān)懷”理念和“三全方法論”，為工程實(shí)踐提供了具有可操作性的系統方法與路徑。
The Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Architectural Design Master. Graduated from Southeast University with a Ph.D. degree, he is the Chief Architect of Shenzhen General Institute of Architectural Design Research Co. Ltd., Distinguished Professor of Shenzhen University, Distinguished Professor of Macau University of Science and Technology, Vice Chairman of the Architectural Society of China (ASC), Vice Chairman of Architects Sub-Institute of the Architectural Society of China, Chairman of Shenzhen Experts United Association, and Part-time Professor of Southeast University and South China University of Technology, etc. He was given the title of the Chinese Architectural Design Master, the Liang Sicheng Architecture Award, the China Design Contribution Gold Award of Guanghua Dragon Award, the One Hundred Nanyue Outstanding Talents Award.
Presided over the design of the Memorial of Crossing-the-Yangtze-River Campaign, Memorial of Yushu Earthquake, Shenzhen Qianhai International Conference Centre, the University of Hong Kong -Shenzhen Hospital, Shenzhen - Hong Kong West Passport Port Inspection Building, Kunming Yuntianhua Group HQ and more than 200 other projects, and has received more than 80 professional awards of all kinds. Project Leader of the Chinese Key Research and Development Program, the "New Methods and New Tools of Goal and Effect Oriented Green Building Design" project. Published "Primitive (Benyuan) Design", “Implementation of Innovation Healthcare Design" and many other works; summed up the "Primitive (Benyuan) Design" theory. The concept of "All-Round Humanistic Care" and "Three-Way Methodology" he advocates have systematically provided the engineering practices an operable method and path.
